Duplicate or create new empty sheets in AutoDesk® Revit®
Duplicate Sheet HelpAbout
Revit® does not provide the ability to duplicate a sheet. I feel that their reason is simple: Since some views that are placed onto a sheet can only occur on one sheet, why would you need to duplicate a sheet. I understand this logic but I disagree. There are many elements placed onto sheets that can be on more than one sheet. This addin allows you to duplicate these elements along with the title block and the title block settings.
New with version 4.0, you can completely duplicate a sheet including the single-sheet views. It does this by making a detailed duplicate of the original view and then places the duplicate view on the new sheet.
I hope you like this small Revit® addin I made to help the guys at the office, and I hope it helps you too.
This is a paid addin. If hope you find it useful and consider purchasing the addin through AutoDesk®’s app store if you received this free.
How it works
Select the Duplicate Sheets button from the Add-in Revit menu. Choose what to duplicate, the sheet to duplicate, the new sheet naming options, and select Proceed to duplicate the selected sheet one or more times. The duplicate options include duplicating the sheet and all of its views, the sheet and those views that may exist on multiple sheets, or creating new, empty sheets using the selected sheet’s title block.
In addition, there is a One Click option that, once configured, allows the creation of one or more sheets using a single button click.
